For My "Friend"

For My "Friend"

I walk alone in the night,
My only guidance a soft moonlight.
What brins me here, you'll never know.
These secrets I alone bestow.
But if you find how I do sin,
Never again shall we be akin.
For when you are happy and full of life,
My eyes will be piercing as the knife.
But if our friendship does stay afloat,
Then I shall surely sink the boat.

3 Haiku for English and a poem not graded

March 22, 2005 19:40
I wrote the first three poems as assignments, and merely wrote what sounded good. The fourth poem is one I wrote not for English class. I just felt in the poetic mood and inspired.
Melancholy

I lay on my bed
Melancholy dreams drifting
I wish I was dead

Crying

She cries in the night
This woman shall never win
But she won't give in.

Darkness

Darkness consumes me
No one shall stand in my way
Then the light came in

The Assassin

He picks up his weapon
The crowd gasps in shock
As appears an evil grimace upon the face of the man
Grown men grow afraid.

As he raises his weapon to his chest
The noise becomes unbearable
Children cry.

A sudden stop
And all noise ceases

He unleashes his attack
His fingers moving
Like spiders over their webs.

The innocent conjugation screams
As wave upon wave fall over them
Like fire rains in the depths of Hell.

But this assassin's weapon
Is not of fatal intent
He is merely doing what he loves to do.

Music is no crime.

This is the camera I found.

How to Make Good Pictures With Your Polaroid Land Camera Model 110A

February 21, 20:42
Hey, guess what guys!! I found a really old camera in my basement. I couldn't think of a good title for this post so I just used the name of the little booklet it has. Now this camera is awesome. Back before their was ever rolls of film. Back when you had to develop your own. Back when your camera weighed 5 pounds. There was this. I even found all the accesories and carrying case. I have one roll of film left. I want to use this roll for sweet vintage looking pictures. Like use it at the easter car show on some of the classics. Maybe some shots of old style buildings that aren't run down to hell. It is going to be awesome.

It has been a while.

March 17, 2005 18:12
Well hello. I am BACK! Not that I have been anywhere. I have just not had the time or motivation to right recently. I think everyone except maybe 1 or 2 have updated. Well in anycase, I am back, and ready for action. As my close friends might know, I have recently lost one of my best friends. I kicked him out of my band. He is hardly a musician, but not nearly an artist. He was always trying to make us be a cover band. I just couldn't take it anymore. He was also a very big jerk. He was "always right" and everyone else was "always wrong." So he is out of the picture. I have started to really get to know the girl mentioned in the previous post. Some would venture to say that we are "boyfriend and girlfriend." I don't like labels, but if I had to label us something I would label us "together." I have also recently decided that I am going to (once I have the money) order a bass wiring kit from Carvin. It is 120 dollars for everything I neeed. after the wiring is all good, then I want to get a NICE pickguard done. It will be made of stainless steel. I would like to repaint the body a limegreen with neon blue details and hardware. I don't know how that will go over. Yet another thing has happened. Since I started writing more music, I signed up for this website called Soundclick. There you can upload MP3's of your music for free. I think it is great. My music page is http://www.soundclick.com/bands/2/jaymontymusic.htm I have started multi tracking all of my concepts. This means that I will record one part, then record another part over the top of it. I simply lay the tracks on top of eachother and see how it sounds. The only thing I don't like about multi tracking is that you could never play live. Oh, and I miss the company and fun of just jamming in my basement. Not with the jerk though. With my good friend Mckray. Once I get that bass working we are back in business. Well, I realized that I really like this girl. She has been in California all week. I haven't seen her since last thursday. I am Jonesin' out here man! Yeah, my grades suffered quite a bit this last sememster, and I haven't really been allowed to do anything. My mom has been riding my case all week. I understand she cares, but I don't think it is going to do much good. I can't do anything about that now, I don't have school till monday, and the reason I failed is because I was bored. So I will update later.

*WOOSH*---The sound of all your hopes and dreams floating away.

New hoodie and the Return of my Mojo

March 4, 2005 23:06
Well hello. I am guessing that you would like to know what this title means. Well about two months ago, I sent in for a free hoodie from Tama Drums. I have a new Tama Rockstar set and they decided to give free hoodies to the people that bought them. I recieved it a few days ago, and guess what! It has a retail value of $80!!! WOW! That said I can move to the mojo part. Well, I have had my eye on one particullar girl for about 4 months now. Turns out that she was the same way with me. We liked each other, we held hands, all was good. Honor Band weekend went by and after that I didn't see her. She said nothing of moving. THis is the same girl as in the previous post. Well, she was gone. I ended up stopping writing new music. I didn't notice this for a while, but I did notice it. I started playing other peoples stuff. A lot. Now she is back, and I noticed that I am writing new music again. Weird, huh? I am thinking it was her that inspired me. I never did much writing before I knew her. Lately, I feel that I have been rather stupid. I feel that I was not giving her the attention she deserves. I noticed something. I am afraid of public emotion. I just put up a wall. Anyways, I really like this girl, and I hope she still likes me. In any case, She is my inspiration for music. She makes me want to sing and dance. She just makes me happy. And guess what!!! I have my Mojo Back. (Mojo applying to my music writing.)

This is What Happens When I Get Involved

March 1, 2005 19:19
Recently I have beed involved with a circle of people who happen to blog. If you are reading this you should already now this. Well, being bloggers, we happen to post what we are feeling and express ourselves vividly. We also never delete a post. You can never "un-say" anything. This happened to hurt someone that is, after I thought about it, quite close to me. How many of you spen about 3 hours a day with someone, about an hour of which is just talking. A lot of people, this is called a friend. Well, recently I and some others have been upset with our friend. We wrote some things when we were frustrated and apparently hurt him quite a bit. This friend is Mr. Scott Morrise, our band teacher. A little while back we had not been playing a lot in band class. We were just talking. We got frustrated, so we posted what we thought. He saw these things, as he should. He got upset and depressed. Before his "Pause," as it has been dubbed, we had stopped posting about his talking and requested a stop of others saying things. The reason for the stop was that the problem was presumably fixed. He started playing in band again. We started working on pieces for Region Band Competition. All was good, and he had even started making possitive comments on his old blog which was at one point abandonned. We were happy and we thought he was too. But he wasn't. Apparently he was still feeling estranged and a subject of ridicule. I would now just like to say that I was part of this group criticisizing him. I only posted one thing and that was it. I was told that I had been a ring leader. Well, I guess I was because I did nothing to stop it. In fact, I encouraged the expression of my peers' emotions. I also never posted anything on this, my personal blog, but since the severe criticism he got from others, I was one of the ones that pushed him over the edge. I rarely get involved in other people's relationships, and this is what happens when I do. Some reward for bein social, huh? To sum it all up though, I guess I would just like to say sorry to my friend and that I could have been a little more polite about it. I am one that encourages people to have a little tact.

~Jared, Sorry
